EP+Co Expands Leadership Team

Greenville, South Carolina-based EP+Co has expanded its leadership team with a series of a dozen promotions and hires across departments at the agency’s Greenville and New York offices.

The promotions follow a year in which EP+Co brought in accounts including Lowes, Puma, 20th Century Fox, Men’s Wearhouse, Tempur-Sealy International and John Deere, as well as being named social media agency of record for LinkedIn last month.

Director, brand and channel strategy Chris Plating, Greenville managing director Karen Mawhinney and New York managing director Kat Shafer have all been named to the agency’s executive leadership team as executive vice presidents. Director, content production Danny Miller and director, production and business systems ops Vicky Gonzalez also join the executive leadership team as senior vice presidents.

Group account director Carolyn Philips was also promoted to senior vice president, while executive content producer Charlotte Stirrup planning director Emily Rule, senior business affairs manager Jeff Fischer, director, creative technology Leslie Scott and director of communications Rebecca Lynch were all elevated to vice president.

The agency also recently hired Amanda Baizen as vice president, account director. Baizen joins the agency from BBDO New York, where she spent the past seven and a half years, serving as account director on Visa, Campbell’s and Subway. Prior to joining BBDO in 2011, she served as an account executive for Hill Holliday.
