Duffey Lands at ‘USA Today’

By Kiran Aditham

If the name Augusta Duffey doesn’t ring a bell, let us remind you then that the creative left her GCD gig last yearat Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness after barely three months. At the time, she told us her reason for leaving so soon was to take “a great position running the creative on the digital side of a large media company.” Well, almost a year to the day that we reported on her departure from Saatchi Wellness, Duffey finally reached out this morning to give us a clue as to where she went. Yes, it is indeed a “large media company,” specifically the newly redesigned USA Today. No word yet on what Duffey’s exact title is with the trade’s online platform, but we’ll keep you posted.

Prior to Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness, Duffey served as an ACD at Euro RSCG and has worked as a freelance ACD at KBS+P. Update: We’ve been told by those in the know that Duffey is taking on the role of ECD at Gannett digital, helping lead redesign on the USA Today website and working on the team that drove the print and brand.
