Dueling Banjos: How ‘Deliverance’ and Digital Media Came Together

Tech media, events and research are the three focus areas for International Data Group, or IDG, whose CEO Bob Carrigan was recently inducted into the Media Industry Newsletter (MIN) hall of fame. Carrigan, an apparently banjo enthusiast, was asked to make a video “about digital media”, so naturally he recreated ‘Deliverance’ by dueling himself with said banjo. We’re just as confused as you are.
