Draftfcb Nabs Digital Dockers Duties

A day after Draftfcb landed the rather massive $700 million Beiersdorf global creative business, sources familiar with the matter confirm that the agency’s San Francisco office has now been tasked with handling digital creative and engagement programs for Dockers come 2011.

It seems rather appropriate considering that Draftfcb is already AOR for the Levi Strauss-owned brand. We guess Dockers changed its mind six months after it awarded no one its digital creative business, but consolidated its digital media biz at OMD at the same time. From what folks are telling us, Draftfcb beat out Pereira & O’Dell in the pitch, though we think the former might have had a little bit of home-field advantage.
