Saatchi & Saatchi Los Angeles director of innovation Karl Dunn has left the agency.

Dunn announced his departure on LinkedIn, explaining he will to relocate to Berlin, “his favorite city,” with plans to “set up a consultancy in Berlin and start freelancing in the near future” while also possibly freelancing in the U.S. as well.

We reached out to a representative for Saatchi & Saatchi but have yet to receive a response.

Dunn joined the Los Angeles office of Saatchi & Saatchi last July and worked on the Asics account. Before joining Saatchi he spent around a year freelance creative director with Argonaut, working on Beats and MetLife, followed by six months as a freelance executive creative director with Blackbelt working on a national brand launch for Nerdwallet. Before that he spent nearly three years as a creative director for TBWA\Chiat\Day, working on Nissan Americas, followed by nine months as senior vice president, global creative director on Levi’s and Dockers for FCB San Francisco.
