DiMassimo Goldsteain has promoted Rose Marie Adamo to the role of managing partner, making her the first to hold the role at the agency.

Adamo, who previously served as managing director, will continue to report directly to founder and CEO Mark DiMassimo.

“Rose Marie knows that growth is behavior change,” DiMassimo said in a statement. “She approaches every challenge with a deep belief in our mission, our message and our people. She combines a systematic intellect, the courage to speak objectively, the heart to care deeply about everyone on the team, and hunger for growth. Lee, Desiree, Tom and I are proud to call Rose Marie Adamo ‘Partner.'”

Adamo joined DiMassimo Goldstein as managing director at the beginning of 2015 and has worked alongside DiMassimo, Lee GoldsteinDesiree Cortez and Tom Christmann as a member of the agency’s leadership team, overseeing day-to-day operations. Prior to joining the agency she served as managing director of Zimmerman Advertising’s digital operations and as vice president, associate director of business development at Deutsch New York.

“Because consumers are more defensive about marketing than ever and simultaneously have more choices than ever, behavior change is the only path to growth for brands,” Adamo added. “DiMassimo Goldstein is on the forefront of behavior change marketing, helping our clients help people make more inspired decisions. I’m proud to call this agency ‘home.'”
