Digitaria Adds SapientNitro, HUGE Alums

Fifteen-year-old, WPP-owned, JWT-aligned Digitaria has brought on a few new creatives including HUGE alum Matthew Abate as senior design director in New York and Peter Sayn-Wittgenstein and Oliver Duncan as creative directors in its San Diego hub.

Abate (pictured) spent five years at IPG-owned, Brooklyn-based HUGE and worked on accounts including Comcast, Time Warner and GE while Sayn-Wittgenstein helped oversee digital creative as an ACD out of SapientNitro’s Toronto office for clients such as Sony and Yahoo. Duncan, meanwhile, joins Digitaria from New York-based Infusion, where he served as creative director, North America in the shop’s SoHo base. From what we’ve been told, Abata has been tapped to be “the creative cornerstone” of Digitaria’s growing New York branch.
