Deutsch Welcomes Back Able Parris as Senior Vice President, Group Creative Director in New York

Deutsch New York hired Able Parris as senior vice president, group creative director.

Parris rejoins Deutsch following a year as head of design and group creative director with Translation, where he worked with brands including Google Play Music, DSW, and the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets and Denver Nuggets. Before joining Translation he spent a year and a half as creative director, digital platforms at Deutsch L.A., where he worked with brands such as Taco Bell, Volkswagen, Sprint and Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. Prior to joining Deutsch L.A. he spent time six months as a creative director with RFI Studios, following over three years as a design director with Big Spaceship, where he worked with clients including Chobani and Crayola. He has also had collages and typographic illustrations published in the likes of Vice, Complex, Huffington Post and Cut & Paste.

“Able is a true creative in every sense of the word. He has big, sticky ideas that know no boundaries,” Deutsch New York chief creative officer Dan Kelleher, who joined the agency in that role from KBS in April of 2016, said in a statement. “He’s a great person and we’re thrilled he made his way to the East Coast, and back to Deutsch.”
