Deutsch Hires Donn Rohn as Executive Vice President, Group Strategy Director

This week Deutsch named Donn Rohn as executive vice president, group strategy director in its Los Angeles office. In the position, Rohn will serve as lead strategist on the Volkswagen account and report to executive vice president, co-director of strategy Lindsey Allison.

“Donn has a long history of highly strategic work in automotive marketing,” Allison said in a statement. “His thinking captures the humanity of a brand and translates into great creative work. His strategic leadership will be a great addition to the team.”

Rohn joins Deutsch from RPA, where he has served as a vice president, group strategy director since last March, working with clients including the Los Angeles Clippers, Fox Sports 1, ARCO and Tempur Sealy International. He began his career as a design strategist at Nissan Design America before taking a position as a strategic planning director with WPP in April of 2011, where he was strategic lead for Mazda North America. After a year he left to become a group planning director with Saatchi & Saatchi Los Angeles, focusing on the Toyota account, a position he held for over three years before leaving for RPA.
