Del Campo Nazca Follows Coke Win with AOTY Nod

Del Campo/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi, the masterminds behind one of our fave campaigns of the year, the “Andes Teletransporter,” once again reigns supreme in the Argentinean ad circle as the shop picked up the Best Agency of Iberoamerica prize at the 2010 El Ojo de Iberoamérica festival. In addition, the agency’s creative leads, ECDs Maxi Itzkoff and Mariano Serkin (pictured), were named Best Creative Directors at the event.

Suffice to say, it’s been a good year for Itzkoff and Serkin, who not only picked up a Cannes Grand Prix prize for “Teletransporter” but won the Playstation business in June and most recently, Coca-Cola Argentina. In a statement, Coke Argentina’s marketing director, Alberto Velasco, says, “We are pleased to add Del Campo Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi to our strategic partners’ network; a very prestigious agency, and with an impressive career in the local and global markets.” AdAge reports that the Coke business was moved to Del Campo without a pitch.
