Czech Grocer Uses MO. Family’s Xmas Pic for Window Ad

By Matt Van Hoven

There’s a grocery store in Prague that’s using a picture found on a Missouri woman’s Web site as part of a new campaign for home delivery. The problem: the picture was just a Christmas photo, and it was posted on the woman’s personal blog. Her friend was driving through Prague when he saw the giant image of the family glaring back at him.

Oh, how tiny the world is when we’re connected by the inter Webs. The store owner apologized and is apparently looking for a new image. No one’s sure how the image got there. It was a high resolution photo taken by a professional. The photo owner says from now on she’ll post only low res images with a watermark. Good call.
