Critical Mass Reinforces North American Management Team with Promotion, New Hire

Global digital experience design agency Critical Mass made two senior appointments today, promoting Mark Ashbaugh from vice president, client partner to general manager of the agency’s Toronto office and hiring Connie Eggert as a senior vice president based in New York, focusing primarily on the agency’s Citi account. 

In the new role, Ashbaugh will continue to lead the agency’s Visa and AT&T business as a client partner while also running the Toronto office. Ashbaugh originally arrived at Critical Mass back in October of 2004 as an account manager. Nearly three years later he was promoted to account director, receiving the nod to vice president, client director three years after that.

“Mark will work with the team in Toronto to ensure that we continue to provide leadership and world class work for our clients, as well as help grow the Toronto Office,” said Critical Mass president Chris Gokiert.

Eggert joins the agency from WPP’s Team BAC, where she has served as executive vice president, consumer bank integration lead for nearly three years,  leading integration, strategic development and execution of consumer bank programs across Bank of America’s roster of over twenty agencies. Prior to that, she spent nearly seven years at BBDO New York as senior vice president, account director.
