Crispin, Mullen in Finals for Best Internship

By Matt Van Hoven

A site seeking to rank the best internship programs has tallied the votes, leaving Mullen and Crispin Porter Bogusky in the final round among non-ad firms for the best internship crown.

More than 39,000 people have cast votes, and the race is down to just 10 companies. Crispin’s interns are known for their ability to drink the Kool-aid, among other things, and are pros at extending the agency’s brand into the digital space. For instance, at one point you could buy them for $135 each.

As for Mullen, the agency’s program gets great ratings on sites like Internship Ratings. We hear the program lead, Suzanne Daley, holds it down for the newbies. Update: Daley has moved on and the program is now run by John White.

There are a couple shops in the top 50 section as well. These agencies don’t seem to be up for the top position but still received good marks. We’re speaking of R/GA and HUGE. For you PR folks, Edelman got a mention as well.

Head to InternshipKing.com to cast your vote. Deadline is May 5.

By the way AgencySpy is looking for summer interns. Send your resume to agencyspy (at) gmail (dot) com.
