Chicago-based indie shop Colossal Squid Industries has let go of a handful of staff as part of a “realigning with client initiatives” and not due to loss of business, sources familiar with the matter confirm. The Squid’s biggest clients include Kimberly-Clark and Alberto Culver. Tipsters are telling us that around eight people were cut, though our sources downgrade that number to around five of Colossal Squid’s approximately 60 staffers.
