Colenso BBDO Helps You Avoid Tattoo Regret

Auckland-based Colenso BBDO launched its “Try Before You Buy” outdoor effort for local studio Dermagraphics Tattoo, whereby stickers of tattoo designs were plastered on bathroom and fitting room mirrors throughout New Zealand’s big city. Patrons could then position themselves to “try” the designs and see how they looked on their bodies.

As a person with a fair amount of ink, it’s easy to take issue with one or two of the cliched tribal pieces, but the idea’s nifty and the theme is fitting enough for a city with such a huge Polynesian population.
