Got a tip earlier that Tony Gulisano, 25 year veteran at the Clios, has been fired. And while I could not confirm whether he was fired per se (or if he left), the nice chap on the phone (at Clio HQ) did say he is no longer with the company.
Hmm. That marks the third figurehead to depart (get cut, says my spy), in the last two years.
Also, this is really interesting since Gulisano was appointed managing director of the award show this past March. See the deets of that appointment, here.

No word yet as to who will succeed Gulisano (who apparently didn’t want word to get out).
