Chris Foster Joins Publicis as Senior Vice President, Global Clients

Publicis Groupe appointed Chris Foster to the role of senior vice president, global clients, effective as of September 1. In the newly created role, Foster will report to Publicis Groupe chief strategist Rishad Tobaccowala and will be based in Paris.

Foster arrives at Publicis from Saatchi & Saatchi, where he has served as worldwide chief operating officer for the past eight months, in addition to chairman and regional CEO for Asia-Pacific and Greater China for over four years. He originally joined the agency’s senior leadership in 1999, serving as executive vice president, global equity director for nine years and working with such brands as Tide, Cascade, Olay, Pampers and Ajax. He left Saatchi in 2008 to spend three years as CEO of Minneapolis-based Fallon, growing revenue by 75 percent during his tenure before returning to Saatchi to take the regional CEO for Asia-Pacific and Greater China position.
