Chief Creative Officer/CEO Tom Moudry Leaves Martin Williams After 13-Plus Years

Minneapolis-based Omnicom agency Martin Williams recently went through an executive transition that saw the departure of longtime creative leader and CEO Tom Moudry.

Moudry spent more than 13 years in creative roles at Martin Williams, holding the titles of CEO, CCO and president from 2011 until last November, when former SVP Lori Yeager Davis assumed the latter role. The following month, VP/GCD Steve Casey was promoted to SVP/executive creative director, thereby setting up Moudry’s subsequent departure.

The three moves were apparently part of a planned transition at the agency, whose best-known client is Mall of America.

Moving forward, Casey will lead creative while Yeager Davis will spearhead the business side of things. Martin Williams does not plan to name a new CEO or CCO in the immediate future.

According to an Omnicom spokesperson, Moudry will be working on several products outside the agency world including some work involving the Minnesota Twins Community Fund charity, which is also a Martin Williams client.
