Ch-Ch-Changes At Three Agencies

Bill Cronin will turn over his namesake agency to CCO Steve Wolfberg and director of strategic planning Kim Manning. Cronin and Co., which was started by founder father, has been around for more than 60 years and has billings estimated around $70M. His partners John Riccio and Mike Wheeler will also step down by the end of the year.

“We could not feel more confident in passing the reins to Steve and Kim,” Bill Cronin said. “Both have held leadership positions here for almost 20 years, and both are well-prepared to run this company.”

TBWA has also made some changes. Tom Van Daele has joined the Los Angeles agency as Creative Director. Van Daele comes from Duval Guillaume New York. Van Daele founded the Miami Ad School Belgium, as well.

They’ve also added Associate Creative Director, Brian Friedrich. Friedrich joins TBWAChiatDay from Lowe. He also worked at BBH and Goodby Silverstein and Partners.

Returning to TBWA, for the THIRD TIME, is Ken Pappanduros. After spending the last 12 months freelancing, he comes back in the money as Senior Copywriter on the Nissan team.

Jason Busa has been appointed as Associate Creative Director on the Infiniti account, moving from TBWAMedia Arts Lab. He was also an ACD at Publicis and Hal Riney, San Francisco, and a Senior Art Director at Saatchi & Saatchi, San Francisco.

180LA has hired Joel Rodriguez as a creative director at its Santa Monica office. Rodriguez comes from Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco. Another one! He was also at Fallon, Minneapolis, TBWA\Chiat\Day and BBDO in New York. Get more info here.
