Cancilla Takes Over as Tris3ct CCO

By Kiran Aditham

Chicago-based agency Tris3ct (can we just replace the “3” with “e” already?) has promoted executive creative director Chris Cancilla (the one on the left) to the top post of chief creative officer. Cancilla, who joined Tris3ct nearly 18 months from Y&R Chicago, succeeds Paul Kuzma (pictured, right), who has spent nearly five years at the agency, and has spearheaded creative on efforts such as the one below for Cottonelle in recent times. Kuzma is not leaving the agency, though, as he is now assuming the title of chief idea officer at Tris3ct.

Prior to Tris3ct, Cancilla spent nearly three years at Y&R Chicago, serving as SVP/GCD and working on accounts including Sears, Hilton Hotels, Dave & Buster’s and The American Red Cross. During his career, the new CCO has spent a few years as SVP/group creative director at Arc Worldwide/Leo Burnett.
