Following its merger with MRM last month, Campbell Mithun has confirmed that the agency’s cut staff to make room for the partnership. We’ve been trying to dig up exact numbers and departments affected, but all we’re getting so far is verification that “this is an adjustment of our capabilities (both adding and reducing staff), not an overall reduction.”
The layoffs (and additions) were to be expected considering that it was previously announced that MRM Minneapolis MD and new president of the merged offices Rachael Marret will bring 50 employees on board from Campbell Mithun offices. From what spies are telling us, there are expected to be more layoffs by month’s end to accommodate the merger.
