Campari Group’s Skyy Vodka Selects Mono as First Global Agency of Record

Campari Group brand Skyy Vodka has appointed Minneapolis-based agency Mono as its global agency of record, following a review process lasting around five months.

“In this pivotal moment for Skyy, where we will deliver the next generation of growth on our storied brand, we are excited to announce this partnership with Mono,” Campari senior global director, white spirits Marina Santos said in a statement. “In this new role, Mono will start by developing a fully integrated global campaign.”

Mono will be responsible for developing a global creative platform across multiple international markets launching in the first half of the year, which will run across a variety of media channels. The appointment comes as Skyy Vodka is preparing a brand repositioning including a new recipe and packaging, following years of sales declines.

We are setting out to help them reframe the brand in a new, highly appealing way that deepens connection with their core consumer, thus expanding their global footprint,” Mono founder, managing partner Jim Scott said in a statement. “The chemistry and collaboration we have with the whole Skyy team is very special.”
