C.C. Chapman to Leave Campfire

By Kiran Aditham

Less than a year after his company The Advance Guard was acquired by NYC-based shop Campfire, C.C. Chapman is calling it quits at the end of the month and “moving on to my next adventure at the end of this month” according to a post on his blog today (It’s always appreciated when the agency folks do our job for us).

Chapman became partner/creative director after the acquisition of AG, which he co-founded with Steve Coulson in 2007. Though his official tenure as Campfire CD was rather brief, Chapman had been working with the agency for a couple of years on projects for HBO among others. In his post today, Chapman adds that he will “remain on as a silent partner and look forward to all [Campfire’s] future success.” For now, he’ll be finishing his book, Content Rules, and further developing his website, Digital Dads.
