Burger King Launches a ‘Menu Court’ That Gamers Can Eat

By Kyle O'Brien

Burger King has found a new way to connect with the gaming community, offering up a “Menu Court” that allows players of the NBA 2K21 game to earn free food while they play.

Using the court editing tools available in the game, Burger King Spain and David Madrid customized a Burger King menu board, with the most popular products all over the floor. Players are encouraged to download it in MyLeague Mode (PS4) or MyNBA Mode (PS5), and score from one of the products, so they can get items like the Big King sandwich or fries and sodas for free in their next order.

The harder the shot, the better the reward. To redeem their prizes, gamers are supposed to share the video on Twitter, tagging Burger King and NBA2K with the hashtag #BKMenuCourt.

“We believe video games and content via streaming is the perfect combination to offer our guests new experiences in a fun way, Beatriz Faustino, marketing director for Burger King Spain and Portugal said in a statement.

David Madrid collaborated with Spanish gamers such as RobertPG, Papigavi, who will launch the campaign on Twitch, YouTube and other platforms.

Burger King’s previous gaming campaigns include the “Stevenage Challenge” and “Burger Clan.”
