Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners expanded its production department by hiring industry veteran Vince Genovese as executive director of integrated production.
“Vince has helped create amazing commercials and terrific content over the years, and we’re fortunate to bring him in-house to oversee the delivery of cohesive solutions across all media for our clients,” BSSP CCO John Butler said in a statement. “His experience owning his own production company is critical to the agency as we expand our own Cleaver editorial into areas of video and postproduction to make our clients’ content stand out.”
Genovese arrives at BSSP following a year as a senior producer with Camp+King and freelance integrated executive producer with agencies including McCann, 72andSunny, VB&P, GS&P, TBWA\Chiat\Day and BSSP. Before that he served as executive producer, partner for Republic Content, the creative content production company he was co-owner of, beginning in November of 2012. While with Republic Content he worked with BSSP on campaigns for brands including MINI and Raise the River, GS&P, VB+P, Heat, OKRP, Deutsch, twofifteenmccann, Zambezi and others. Before Republic Content he spent a year as an executive producer with Locksmith Content, working with agencies including Leo Burnett Chicago, VB&P and Heat, and brands such as EA Sports, Kellog’s and Cumberland Coffee. That followed four years as executive producer/director of production with McCann Worldgroup in San Francisco, working with clients including Microsoft, HP and Boys and Girls Clubs of America.
“BSSP is one of the most highly regarded creative agencies in the country, and having worked with them over the years, I value their dedication to creative innovation and the craft of advertising,” said Genovese. “I’m looking forward to being part of the agency’s future, as it develops new solutions and capabilities to better serve its clients’ changing needs.”
