Bloomberg Media continued to grow its in-house marketing team by hiring Shannon McGlothin and Nathaniel Pincus-Roth as creative directors.

Global CCO Teddy Lynn, who joined Bloomberg Media from Ogilvy & Mather New York in December, announced the appointments in an internal memo, stating, “Both Shannon and Nathaniel bring depth and experience to our creative team, and will be critical in delivering on our ambition to build first-class custom content campaigns and experiences for Bloomberg Media clients across our multiple platforms.”

Upon Lynn’s arrival in December, CEO Justin B. Smith told Adweek that Bloomberg Media was “launching ambitious plans to expand our creative, marketing services and custom content capabilities.”Shannon McGlothin

McGothlin joined BBH New York as an executive creative director from Omelet around a year ago and co-ran the global Vaseline account before leaving in January to go freelance. He spent a little over two years with Omelet as a group creative director and executive creative director, and worked on the agency’s Super Bowl spot for Pokémon. Before that, McGothlin spent a year with Leo Burnett as an executive creative director on Samsung, served as a group creative director with Deutsch L.A and as an associate creative director with CP+B in Boulder, working with brands including Coca-Cola and Gap.

Nathaniel Pincus-RothPincus-Roth has spent over eight years with CAA Marketing and notably worked on its 2014 “Unlimited” back-to-school effort for Old Navy. In addition to Old Navy, he has also worked with brands including Diet Coke, Chipotle, Cadillac, Chevrolet and QVC.

Below we’ve included Lynn’s internal memo in full:

All,

As we continue to develop and expand our creative strategy, I’m excited to welcome two new creative directors who have joined our ranks today: Shannon McGlothin and Nathaniel Pincus-Roth.

Both Shannon and Nathaniel bring depth and experience to our creative team, and will be critical in delivering on our ambition to build first-class custom content campaigns and experiences for Bloomberg Media clients across our multiple platforms.

Shannon was most recently Executive Creative Director at BBH New York, where he ran the global Vaseline account. He was previously ECD at the Publicis agency Omelet, where he contributed to campaigns for Pokemon and the gaming company Ubisoft. He’s held senior creative roles at Wieden + Kennedy, Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Deutsch and Leo Burnett. Throughout his 15+ year career, Shannon has developed award-winning campaigns for brands like Samsung, Nike, Coca-Cola and Macy’s, earning him recognition from Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show and The Clio Awards.

Nathaniel joins us from Creative Artists Agency. After spending his first three months in the mailroom delivering packages as part of the company’s famed trainee program, he worked his way up the ranks becoming a creative director in CAA’s Marketing Group. With that team he made groundbreaking work for brands like Old Navy, QVC, Diet Coke, Cadillac and Chevrolet as well as Cannes Lions Grand Prix work for Chipotle. Nathaniel’s background fuses creative and business, having received his MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management.

Shannon and Nathaniel will be based in New York. Their many talents will strengthen our already robust custom content efforts and allow us to deliver campaigns that will generate impact and alter the world view of our clients.

Please join me in welcoming them to Bloomberg Media.

Teddy
