Spies have been informing us this afternoon that Matt Bijarchi, executive producer, Media Arts at TBWA\Chiat\Day NY was let go by the agency. After a simple phone call to the office, we were indeed told that Bijarchi “is no longer here.”
But along with that, we’ve been hearing that Bijarchi’s departure wasn’t the most amicable due to various, shall we say, less-than-flattering reasons that we still have yet to substantiate. All we’ve been told so far is that he is in fact no longer with the agency. Bijarchi joined TBWA\Chiat\Day NY at the end of 2008 from CAA and in turn reunited with his former Y&R Chicago colleague and current TBWA NY CCO Mark Figliulo.
