BFG 9000 Touts Little Ceasars ‘Hot N’Ready’ Lunch

By Erik Oster

Barton F. Graf 9000 launched a new spot for Little Caesars, promoting the Arby’s of pizza chains’ “Hot N’Ready”  lunch deal for five dollars in “File Cabinet.”

The spot’s premise basically admits that the only people desperate enough to go to Little Caesars for lunch are the extremely busy. It portrays an overworked man using a very long file cabinet to launch into a Little Caesars to buy lunch while still on a work call, while the voiceover asks, “Don’t have time to leave the office for lunch?” The 15-second spot then shows the four deep dish slices and Pepsi offered in the five dollar deal before the brand’s animated mascot utters the familiar “Pizza Pizza” line. It’s short and to the point; well aware that cost and convenience are the brand’s only selling points, it sticks to them. That’s not a bad call (getting Little Caesar’s for lunch, on the other hand, is).
