BBH New York Hires Matthew Anderson as Chief Growth Officer

BBH New York welcomed Matthew Anderson as chief growth officer.

Anderson will report directly to BBH New York CEO Anthony Romano, who joined the agency from R/GA last June.

“We’re thrilled to have Matthew joining our leadership team in New York as we continue to drive BBH’s resurgence in the U.S.” Romano said in a statement. “Matthew knows what it takes to win and has a really unique and creative perspective on the ‘new rules’ of business development in a landscape that’s only getting more complex every day.”

Anderson arrives at BBH from PR/communications agency, Marina Maher Communications, where he has led agency growth and marketing initiatives as executive vice president, chief marketing officer since June of 2015. Prior to joining MMC he spent around two years as executive vice president, chief marketing officer for Publicis New York, followed by a six month stint as partner, global chief marketing officer for Code & Theory. Before that he served as managing director, business growth at The Kaplan Thaler Group, which followed nearly a decade at Deutsch, including over two years as senior vice president, director of business development.
