Vail Resorts has selected BBDO San Francisco as its new creative agency partner. The decision was made following a competitive review which the Omnicom-owned shop obviously won. The other contenders in the review were not disclosed.
Vail previously used agencies on a project basis for its various properties such as Venables, Bell & Partners and Crispin Porter + Bogusky. BBDO will now also work on a project basis with the brand and the agency’s first assignment will be to create a marketing communications program in support of the Heavenly Mountain Resort in Tahoe, which visitors can revel in around November.
Brent Smart, EVP and managing director, BBDO San Francisco says in a statement, “We’re super excited to partner with Vail Resorts, they have some great brands in a dynamic category. What’s more, they really get the digital space and have a desire to do great work.”
BBDO SF’s other clients include Mars, Harrah’s, 8th Continent and Gallo.
