BBDO, Pedigree and Some Good Dogs Help Vets Recover from PTSD

By Patrick Coffee

On a very somber note, a new short film that BBDO made for Pedigree concerns an all-too-common topic: American service members returning from overseas conflicts with serious injuries and the PTSD that so often comes along with them.

It’s fairly self-explanatory and long for sponsored content, but the story is effective.

We don’t really have much of a comment on the work, but we are big fans of dogs. Also note that the brand doesn’t even really make an appearance until the very end.

Here’s what we find kind of interesting: Lt. Lasko works in public relations. Specifically, he handles government relations for a Bethlehem, Pennsylvania firm called Sahl Communications, Inc.

Not that this in any way affects his story or this particular project. Maybe it’s just that everyone, on some level, is a marketer.
