BBDO Minneapolis welcomed Liz Giel as vice president, director of strategy.
“Liz was chosen for her ability to unlock insights that drive both effective and highly creative work,” BBDO Minneapolis CEO Neil White said in a statement. “Beyond this, she’s a great cultural fit and I look forward to working with her to make The Work work better for our clients.”
Giel joins BBDO from Carmichael Lynch, where she has spent the past four years serving as group planning director on the agency’s Subaru of America account. Before joining Carmichael Lynch she spent over two and a half years as a strategist with Fallon, where she led brand and digital strategy for clients including Cadillac, Travelers Insurance, Cruzan Rum and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Prior to Fallon she spent a year at Haberman, leading strategy for such brands as Volvo, Organic Valley, Annie’s Homegrown and the Organic Trade Association.
“BBDO has a history of incredible storytelling, but now that storytelling is being enhanced by the ability to uncover rich insights, better anticipate the audience’s response, and make the stories increasingly personalized,” Giel said in a statement. “I am excited to bring these expanding capabilities to our clients.”
