BBDO, HBO Win Big at ADCs

By Kiran Aditham

We’re sure BBDO and HBO are giving themselves some sort of pat on the back this morning as the Art Directors Club announced that both agency and client each won three ADC Gold Cubes including two for the “Cube Film Installation” in the advertising (unconventional/guerilla) and design (environmental design) categories. Goodby and W+K meanwhile each picked up two Gold Cubes in the Interactive category, the former winning for GE’s “Plug into the Smart Grid” and HP’s “Summit on the Summit” while the latter won for Nike’s “Livestrong Foundation” campaign.

During the actual 89th ADC Awards event, which takes place May 19 in New York, the winners of the ADC best-in-show Black Cube as well as Agency of the Year, Network of the Year, Design Team of the Year, Interactive Agency of the Year and School of the Year will all be announced. In the meantime, check out the Gold/Silver/Bronze winners here.
