Barton F. Graf Re-Hires CD, Talks Little Caesar’s Ingredients

By Patrick Coffee

Barton F. Graf (no more 9000, remember) has re-hired Jonathan Vingiano to serve as its newest creative director.

He rejoins the shop after holding the CD title at R/GA (where he worked on Converse and Samsung) and B-Reel, where he worked on campaigns for Google, Squarespace, AmEx and other clients.

Vingiano’s chief responsibility will be partnering with Matt Moore, who BFG swiped from W+K Tokyo last fall, on the Little Caesar’s account. The new CD, who has also taught digital design at Parsons, will report directly to Gerry Graf.

Now here are the agency’s latest spots for Little Caesar’s, which are just as odd as you’d expect.

We are honestly quite surprised to learn that the client uses real tomatoes.

In keeping with the helplessly awkward/outdated theme, there’s a reason Caesar’s pies always taste the same.

Finally, we feel like a few clients and/or agencies might benefit from hiring one or more of these “No Men.”

We think we used to like Little Caesar’s, but in big old New York City the chain is currently as rare as a White Castle or a disease-free Chipotle.
