Barton F. Graf Hypes Little Caesars Stuffed Crust Deep! Deep! Dish with ‘Faces’

By Erik Oster

Barton F. Graf recently launched a new spot for fast food pizza chain Little Caesars, talking up the chain’s Stuffed Crust Deep! Deep! Dish with the 30-second “Faces.”

“Faces” features a pair of disembodied heads floating above the chain’s stuffed crush deep dish offering and marveling at its cheesiness. While one of the heads goes on with excitement over the stuffed crust (with sci-fi music in the background), the other attempts to quiet him, saying, “Just take it all in.” In other words: it’s the kind of weirdness we’ve come to expect from the agency for this brand. If you think their oddball approach has worked in the past, you may appreciate this one as well. It arrives around a month after a “Corporate Scapegoat” spot, which introduced Little Caesars corporate scapegoat Chet Wallaby, who took the blame for removing the Bacon Wrapped Deep! Deep! Dish pizza from the menu, and a series of other spots in which viewers are invited to “Blame Chet” for such everyday crimes as forgetting to water the plants or leaving whatever that thing is in the fridge.
