Digital agency AnalogFolk hired Ruth Sreenan in the newly-created position of executive vice president, U.S. operations.

Based out of New York, Sreenan will be tasked with implementing practices to optimize the agency’s effectiveness and financial wellbeing, while reporting directly to AnalogFolk founder and managing director Kunal Muzumdar.

“Adding Ruth to our team is incredibly exciting. Her experience is hugely valuable to an agency our size,” Muzumdar said in a statement. “She will help reinforce our foundation from an operational standpoint so that how we make is as innovative as what we make.”

“I’m thrilled to be starting a new chapter at AnalogFolk. What drew me here was that they’re a relatively young independent global agency with tremendous momentum,” Sreenan added. “This freedom allows for innovative thinking and creativity, and my role is to ensure that they can deliver in the most effective and efficient way; not just for our clients but for our employees too.”

Sreenan joins AnalogFolk following a period as a freelance consultant COO. Before that she spent over three and a half years as senior vice president, operations and finance for WPP’s Possible, following nearly two years as executive vice president, marketing operations for Havas Lynx. Prior to joining Havas, she spent nearly eight years with Digitas, first as senior vice president, technology out of its New York office, as well as relationship lead for Morgan Stanley’s institutional equities division and managing the technical relationship with Allstate, and then senior vice president, delivery and operations out of London, where she also oversaw the integration resulting from the acquisition of Modem Media.

The appointment follows a series of account wins for AnalogFolk this year, including Blink Fitness, Nike U.S. Football and Guardian Life. According to a press release, this has led to a 120% increase in revenue in the past year.
