ANA Names New Board of Directors at Masters of Marketing Conference

The Association of National Advertisers (ANA) elected eight new members to its board of directors at its annual Masters of Marketing conference in Orlando, and the list includes executives at prominent brands.

The newly elected directors are: Soyoung Kang, CMO of EOS Products, who was recently named one of Adweek’s Brand Geniuses; Kristin McHugh, senior vice president, marketing activation and creative at Verizon; Shakir Moin, chief marketing officer, North America at The Coca-Cola Company; Drew Panayiotou, biopharma global chief marketing officer at Pfizer; Lisa Roath, executive vice president and CMO, Target Corporation; and Julie Washington, executive vice president, chief marketing, communications and customer experience officer at Trinity Health.

In addition, the organization named a new board vice chair in Emily Callahan, chief marketing Officer for ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She will become ANA’s chair one year from now.


Current ANA board chairman Marc Pritchard, chief brand officer at Procter & Gamble, will continue as chairman until the end of 2024. Callahan will be working closely withPritchard to transition as he concludes his six-year term as chair.

Pritchard spoke earlier at the conference about the importance of market growth above all else.
