Adam Scott, Black Box Wines’ Savvy Man, is Back

By Kyle O'Brien

Adam Scott debuted as Savvy Man for Black Box Wines back in March. Now he continues his wry charm as a connoisseur of boxed wine in a continuation of “The Savvy Man” campaign by Red Tettemer O’Connell + Partners (RTO+P).

Two new spots play up Scott’s slyly savvy spokesperson as an expert who invites would-be drinkers of the affordable boxed wine into his den of luxury.

“Savvy Gathering” highlights Scott as a party host, humbly bragging about Black Box’s 100-plus medals of excellence. Within the scene, he asks for the medals to be moved into the trophy room, while he pours guests some red vino out of the box’s spout.

A second spot, “Come Over,” doubles down on the award recognition as Scott invites people to join him on the savvy side by indulging in the award-winning Black Box Wines. But, as he talks to the camera, he clarifies that fans of the wine shouldn’t come directly to where he is since “we shot this months ago.”

In a third spot, he shows off a jingle he wrote for Black Box as he sits at a grand piano. But since he doesn’t sing, there is no music.

The campaign will continue to run nationally across OTT, including Roku, Disney+, and YouTube.
