Ad Production Veteran Founds Line by Line to Streamline the Bidding Process

A new service launched today to make the production bidding process a little easier.

Advertising production veteran Victoria Curtis (pictured) has founded Line by Line to streamline the production bidding process, offering agencies, brands and production companies the services of a collective of vetted bidding producers.

“There’s an enormous onboarding process for executive producers, and many simply don’t have the bandwidth to search their network and check availabilities when they are under pressure to book jobs yesterday,” Curtis said in a statement. “It’s a vastly inefficient process that hasn’t been challenged. We’re offering an a la carte service that gives EPs and heads of production more peace of mind while giving bidders and line producers more work.”

Line by Line is designed to expedite bids via its team of production specialists available at an hourly basis, including on nights and weekends. According to a press release, the company “allows for a hive mind to share valuable data on global markets in real time, keeping clients up-to-date as pertinent information shifts throughout the industry, helping to further accelerate the bidding process.”

Curtis has worked as freelance bidding producer for the past four years, working with production companies including Prettybird, Somesuch, Anonymous Content, Serial Pictures, Iconoclast and Pulse Films. Earlier in her career, she served as a bidding producer for Bullitt and Ridley Scott Creative Group and as head of production for Alldayeveryday.
