A New Arm Of Publicis Is Green

Levy is just determined to keep Publicis out in the forefront. He recently has bought some digital shops, paired with Google and now, he’s going green. Publicis Groupe has made bought Act Now Productions, a sustainability consultancy located in San Francisco run by Adam Werbach. Clients include P&G, Wal-Mart, Cisco and Columbia Records.

Maurice said in a statement that, “Our motivation in acquiring Act Now – which will take the name of Saatchi & Saatchi S – is not only to better help our clients communicate about the important issue of sustainability. Companies
everywhere have a critical role to play in reducing CO2 emissions, in protecting the environment, and in taking corporate social responsibility seriously. “

Hmm… so doesn’t that include Publicis as a whole? When are is your company going green Maurice? Just sayin’.

Act Now website says that – “Effective immediately, Act Now will be part of the new Saatchi & Saatchi S network, a revolutionary market offering designed to activate corporate and consumer action on a mass scale to address environmental and economic sustainability. Adam Werbach has been appointed CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi S.”

Saatchi & Saatchi S currently offers “brand navigation, planning, creative, media and brand philosophy” to its clients with offices in San Francisco and Boulder (Colorado) and plans to open in New York, Chicago, Fayetteville (Arkansas), London and Beijing in early 200.”
