72andSunny New York hired Anibal Casso as group strategy director, tasked with leading the General Mills account while also working on ESPN.
“72andSunny with Redscout” was selected as General Mills’ primary creative agency in October following a review launched last summer.
Casso joins 72andSunny from Droga5, where he has served as group strategy director since December of 2015 and led global strategy for Android and the Google Pixel launch.
Before joining Droga5 he spent nearly five and a half years as brand strategy director for Wieden + Kennedy, where he led global strategy for Old Spice and North American strategy for Verizon and Sony Electronics. Prior to that he spent almost four and a half years at The Vidal Partnership, serving as senior strategic planning lead on accounts including Heineken, Ketel One, Sprint, Home Depot and the NFL.
