22squared promoted Brandon Murphy, who formerly served as executive vice president, chief strategy officer to the position of chief client officer.
In the newly created role, Murphy will be tasked with overseeing the agency’s account management team while continuing to lead 22squared’s brand strategy, media and analytics teams. He will report directly to 22squared president and CEO Richard Ward.
Murphy is an eleven year agency veteran at 22squared, having helped shape the agency’s rebranding and repositioning while redefining its brand strategy, media planning, media buying and analytics departments. He originally joined the agency in April of 2005, following four years as senior vice president, planning director with Campbell-Ewald. Before that he held planner roles at Fahlgren and Thompson Murray.
“This is a great move for both Brandon, and the agency,” said Ward. “Those who work closely with Brandon know he has a very special talent for analyzing and solving very complex challenges. I am confident and excited for the insights and ideas he will help trigger in the months ahead.”
