Zenith Is Bringing Mac Hagel Back to Head Up West Coast Operations

After taking a brief time away from Zenith, Mac Hagel is returning to the company as the new evp, managing director for the west.

Hagel originally joined Zenith in 2012 as the svp of strategy. In that role, he managed both the JPMorgan Chase and H&M accounts for the agency. Hagel led the charge for H&M’s David Beckham Super Bowl campaign, which was officially the most-talked-about commercial during the 2014 game on Twitter. Hagel them moved to evp, media lead, working on the Verizon account for two years.

Most recently, Hagel put in some time at OMD, where he worked on accounts such as Machine Zone gaming and Time Warner Cable.

“I’m excited to welcome Mac back to Zenith’s West Coast operation,” Sean Reardon, CEO of Zenith USA, said in a statement. “Under his leadership on the West Coast, look for Zenith to not only compete, but strengthen our client performance and win in many categories of business.”

In the new role, Hagel will be a member of the Zenith USA executive leadership team and will be tasked with bringing his experience in a wide range of categories, from travel and gaming to packaged goods and cable, to the team.
