Following its partnership announcement with Lego to develop a metaverse, Epic Games has agreed to partner with WPP to help them deliver a digital experience for brands in that space.

The partnership will include the development of a training program to upskill thousands of the agency network’s creatives and technologists to develop brand experiences for online platform Fortnite, including learning how to use Unreal Engine to develop for virtual worlds.

There will be three tracks created for the metaverse curriculum for executives, creative practitioners and media experts and strategists.

In a statement, Matthew Henick, vp of metaverse development at Epic Games, described the partnership as being one which would “accelerate the building of diverse social entertainment experiences that players across the world will love.”
