WPP has continued its move of reducing office space and consolidating agencies and employees into fewer sites, this time with a new hub in Milan.

The WPP Milan Campus will house 35 agencies and 2,000 employees at a single location, whereas previously the agencies were spread out across nine different sites. The hub spans a total area of 27,000 square meters (290,600 square feet) in the historic district of San Cristoforo.

The campus is part of an urban development project in an abandoned industrial area where one of Milan’s most prominent factories, that of ceramics and homeware manufacturer Richard Ginori, once stood.
