Wolff Olins has promoted Emma Barratt to global executive creative director, with a remit to “push the boundaries of brand-led experiences.”

Barratt joined Wolff Olins as creative director in 2017 and was promoted four years later to the ECD role, working with clients such as Alibaba, Google, Huawei and Uber. She had previously held roles with Rufus Leonard, Moving Brands, Saatchi & Saatchi and Pentagram.

Based in London, Barratt will join the leadership team while being tasked to “grow and evolve [the business] … bringing together innovation, technology and design across multiple platforms,” explained the statement announcing her promotion.

Reporting to chief executive Sairah Ashman, she will also work with recent hire Wayne Deakin and the wider design team around the delivery of brand and experience design projects.
