A month after its acquisition of Omobono, b-to-b agency The Marketing Practice (TMP) has acquired media and audience insight business Kingpin Communications as the company continues its M&A strategy of growth.

The latest acquisition, supported by private equity investor Horizon Capital, will see TMP strengthen its media, data and audience insights with 60 full-time members of staff joining, based across the U.S., the U.K., Germany and Australia.

Kingpin currently counts clients such as ServiceNow, Microsoft, Salesforce, Slack, Lenovo, SAP and Fortinet among its business roster.

The acquisitions will be brought together under the TMP banner to create one organization rather than a network to improve its b-to-b offer to clients.

In a statement, Matt Harper, chief executive of TMP, described the deal as one that could help the b-to-b marketing sector to develop.
