British cosmetic and skincare retailer The Body Shop has named FCB Brasil as its agency of record to work alongside the Natura & Co brand as they implement cause-focused content and campaigns.

Natura & Co also owns brands such as Avon and Aesop, with marketing overseen by the group’s video president of media, content and communications, Carlos Pitchu.

The appointment follows a bidding process involving three final candidates, with FCB chosen as its content partner to create and implement campaigns as well as oversee strategic planning from June.

For two years, the brand has focused on rekindling activism as it aims to become more relevant to consumers, supported by PR and influencer marketing agency Press Pass, which was integrated into the brand team in 2020.
