Today, San Francisco, Calif.-based Duncan Channon announced the finalization of its plans to acquire Los Angeles’ A2G, a 14-year-old shop focusing on experiential work and social media strategy.

The two formerly independent agencies will become one under the Duncan Channon name following a transitional period of approximately six months. A2G founder and chief creative officer Amy Cotteleer also becomes partner, shareholder and chief experience officer at the new entity, which employs more than 80 people.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“These guys were doing influencer marketing in the social space before we were even using those terms.”
