Publicis Groupe Beats Organic Growth Expectations for Q1 Results

The company reports a growth of 2.8%, but a 3.6% decline in net revenue

In a year impacted by the global pandemic, Publicis Groupe has posted a better-than-expected first quarter with “solid” organic growth of 2.8%. Net revenue was still down 3.6% to $2.865 million year over year. In Q1 2020, the company reported a net revenue of $2.972 million just as the pandemic began to take hold.

The agency network, which owns Leo Burnett, Publicis Sapient, Saatchi & Saatchi and Epsilon, cited strength in the U.S., where it reported organic growth of 5.1%,
